We have some fun challenges for scrapbooking this year with the Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge. This month it is all about scallops! Always remember, that YOU need to be in at least one photo on your layout as well.
I love every opportunity I have to pull out my scallop border punch! It made me so happy to do so today!
I’ve used the Everyday Moments Scrapbook Workshop Kit from Stampin’ Up! This kit is one of my all-time favorite scrapbook workshop kits. It is a stunner!
I used my scallop punch on the long border stickers on the sticker sheet! It made it so easy to add scallops to my layout. I LOVE it!
I also used scraps that I had left over from a previous layout that I made with this kit. I didn’t have to cut into one of my few remaining 12 x 12″ DSP sheets. The giant vanilla die actually came in the kit. I love it on that Pretty Peacock 12 x 12″ base paper.
I pulled out my Of Art & Texture stamp set to do some stamping on the vanilla piece in Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. I’m going to miss the Wild Wheat when it retires in April. I think it is a color that plays well with other colors. It seems to match everything.
I also used some of the round stickers that I had so much trouble using on my last layout. For some reason, they seemed to work flawlessly with this layout.
What’s up with that photo, you ask?
Well…I was practicing taking selfies for social media projects that I’m working on. I was trying to get a photo of myself with a card I made, but the only thing in focus in this photo is ME!
