Create a pretty pearlized sheen on your cards using the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Powder Blue and Mother of Pearl.
I’m having a blast experimenting with this embellishment mousse just to see what I can do with it.
Today’s card and technique was created using this week’s Paper Craft Crew card sketch. This fabulous sketch is very clean and simple. I decided to try a soft subtle technique using Powder Blue and Mother of Pearl mousses to add a pretty sheen to my cards. I tried this on white and black card stock.
It’s always hard to capture sparkle and shine in a photo, but I think you can see it here!
I watercolored the leaves with Catherine Pooler inks and then blended over the top with the two mousses to create this pretty sheen. I used the gold and blue mixed with water to create splatter with a paint brush.
I think this is my new favorite splatter medium!
This is a nice one layer card!
I tried this over black card stock and used the mousses to color in the leaves. This is an excellent product to add color to dark cardstock.
I was surprised at how well this covered the dark cardstock! It does have a pretty sheen that I did not capture in this photo. The hello was also created with the watercolor technique of the copper mousse.
