Create A Pop Up Fairy House!

By | 08/03/2021

Today I have a pop up fairy house to share using several die sets from Scrappy Tails Crafts.

Once you start making one of these pop up house cards, it is very addicting to keep pulling out stamps and dies to create more decorations for the house!

I’ve used 5 die sets and 2 stamp sets to add stuff to this sweet house!

I used scraps of colored cardstock for this project.  I made sure that I pulled papers from my scrap file as well.

I used the Slimline Pop Up Card die set to create the house base and pop up feature.  I used the Slimline Cobblestone Background die to create the house front.  The Slimline Fairy House add on die set gave me lots of window choices, the door, and the roof which I love!

I also used the Spring Essentials Dies to add the grass to the sides of the door and the Assorted Leaves die set to create the flower bushes at the side of the door.

The sentiment on the back is from the Fairy Sentiments and die set.

I did not die cut out any windows so that I could have fairies peeking through them.  Instead, I created a silhouette image of a fairy and made it look like she was looking out the window.

I’ve never been fond of making interactive cards until I started using the Scrappy Tails Crafts die sets.  They are so well designed and so well thought out.  They come chocked full of extra dies that allow you to add very special touches to your cards.

I love that there are so many add on sets to the original birdhouse pop up die set.

Just wait until you see what goodies are coming out this month!
