Create A Slimline Floral Card With No Stamping!

By | 05/18/2021

Have you been making an effort to use things in your stash that you haven’t used in a while?

I did that today when I pulled out some of my Brusho powders from Colourcraft.  They make such pretty backgrounds and they are quick and easy to use.

I also pulled out 3 of my favorite die sets from Scrappy Tail Crafts to create a slimline card that required no stamping!

Isn’t the background fun?

Prussian Blue Brusho is a quick way to do some watercoloring with pigment powder and a spray bottle of water.  You simply spritz your watercolor paper and then sprinkle on a tiny amount of the powder.  I do mean a tiny amount!  This is very intense pigment powder!

I die cut the daisies from the Whimsical Layering Daisy die set once with a light yellow cardstock and once with a white.  I also cut the floral centers out with a piece of scrap kraft cardstock.

The leaves were cut from an olive green using the Assorted Leaves dies and the sentiment was die cut in navy with the Slimline Pop Up Box Card set which has a huge number of word dies!

After everything was die cut, I used my Altenew Alcohol Markers to add some detail with simple flicking.  I like the dimension it gives the die cuts.  The dies were added with foam and liquid glue.Slimline Floral Card with No Stamping

The finishing touch was the clear jewel gems to give it a little sparkle!
