Dear Stampin’ Up, What Are We Supposed To Do With The Tiny Pearls?

By | 02/09/2013

What does Stampin’ Up! think we are going to do with those super tiny pearls in the Pearl Basic Jewel set?  These things are tiny!!!!

Of course I have some ideas!

8 card challenge card 7This is card 7 of my 8 card challenge to use the same 3 basic piece of card stock for my cards for the week.  Card 8 will be posted on my Facebook page today (if I don’t lose electricity before I can get it posted!).

Notice the tiny pearls in the Scalloped Circle Punch.  How pretty is that?  The card just needed a little something and there sat the teeny weeny pearls.  Inspiration hit!  I love them in the scallops.  You could also use your paper piercing tool and pierce each scallop, but I really like the tiny pearl!

This card uses the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder (#127751), the 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch (#118874), White Craft Ink (#101731), Real Red Ink (#126949), the Two-Tone Ribbon (#129294) from the Spring Mini along with the Designer Builder Brads (#129329).  The image and sentiments are from the Summer Solstice Stamp Set (#122037).

I also used the tiny pearls (#119247) and the silver button in the center of the flower (another item on my “LOVE” list!) is from the Spring Mini (#129325).  I just felt that it finished off the flower in the same tone as the Designer Builder Brad.

I didn’t use the entire piece of Real Red.  I contemplated adding some punched red flowers with pearls in the center.  Sometimes, less is more.  This is one of those times!
