Get a stained glass look using the new Copper Embossing Powder!
I was playing around with techniques this week and I was experimenting with all of the new copper goodies that Stampin’ Up! has come out with this year. I’ve decided that I would love a new pair of shoes in this fabulous metallic color. How perfect for fall!
In the project that I’m sharing with you today, I’ve used copper embossing powder, Washi tape with copper dots and copper foil. The copper foil is a sneak peek of a new product that will be available on September 1 in the upcoming Holiday Catalog!
I actually pulled out a retired stamp set called Lighthearted Leaves. I love the Zentangle look of this graphic set. All that I’ve done here is to use the copper embossing powder on the image and then color it in with my Stampin’ Write Markers using all of my favorite regal colors!
I plan to try this same thing on velum for a real stained glass look. I really love how this looks.
Isn’t the copper fantastic for fall??
While the stamp set is retired and no longer available, the other products are available at mystampingstore.com. (With the exception of the copper foil…check back in September for that goodie!)
My card was inspired by this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch:
Another fabulous sketch to play with!!!
Thanks for stopping by today!
