Thoughtful Branches Gift Bag

By | 08/15/2016

I had a pile of scrap papers, ribbons, stamped images and die cuts on my craft table when I sat down today. The pile inspired me to create a gift bag.  I’ve been dying to use one of the new gold clips!

We all have that pile of stuff on our desk.  I often go on a cleaning frenzy after it has been sitting for a time and just toss it out.  Today, I realized that I could actually make a gift bag for a colleague with some first day of school goodies!

You can see the lace ribbon, the burlap ribbon, the gold sequin trim and the gold striped bow.  I paired it with the Old Olive banner and the Blooms and Bliss designer paper that I haven’t been able to put down lately!!!

The sentiment is a sneak peek from a pretty fabulous stamp set that will be available in the Holiday Catalog on September 1!

These are great bags because they are poly-lined so that they are food safe and they are perfect for cookies or a small loaf of bread.  These are called Petite Cafe Gift Bags and they are “the ideal blank slate for your creativity”!  I find that to be true.

You’ll find some great stamp sets with sentiments just for food treats that you make or buy to give away.  I also love that I can use the bits of ribbons and paper scraps that I always have to decorate them.  It’s a project that usually helps my desk get cleaner as I craft!!

As fall approaches, I find that I am making more gift bags and boxes for the back to school gifts, the Halloween and Thanksgiving treats, and the Christmas goodies I plan to bake and give away.

You can stock up on all kinds of bags and gift boxes or the punch boards to make your own by shopping online at mystampingstore.com!

You are only limited by your craft stash and your imagination!

Can you tell I am catching up with your posts! I can’t get enough of those fall colors. Just love them. That is why the regals are my favorite color group. I would love to receive a gift in a bag like that. Just beautiful!!
