Falling In Love With Concord & 9th Turnabout Stamps

By | 04/20/2018

I purchased one of the Concord & 9th turnabout stamps a while back and never had time to play with it because I was so busy taking classes.  Along comes Concord & 9th’s April release and I fell in love with everything!

The new release includes a Wreath Turnabout stamp set and if you place a qualifying order, you get a free set of dies and a Bitty Burst Turnabout set.

I had so much fun playing with these today!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these stamps!

Each card used one stamp image and one sentiment.  The stamped image was stamped 4 times on the floral card and 3 on the Bitty Burst of dots.

To use these, you need to create a jig out of chipboard and create a grid on the back of the stamps to line up with the grid you put on the jig.  The MISTI makes this a breeze to do.  You ink it up, stamp it, turn it 90 degrees and repeat as many times as you want.

They are quick and simple and look at the color!!!  WOW!

This little Bitty Burst set was free.  Free happens to be my favorite price to pay!  I love when you get a free goodie or free shipping when you place an order.  I make a wish list and when my wish list qualifies me for a freebie or free shipping, I place my order.

The sentiment on this card is from the Wreath Turnabout set.  I’ve used my Catherine Pooler inks on this stamp:  Fiesta Blue, Flirty Fuchsia, and Lime Rickey.  I’ve added some copper foil paper and Studio Katia sequins in a fun fairy mix.

Isn’t this a pretty card?  I used my MFT STAX circle dies to cut out the sentiment and the foil piece.

This is the Wreath Turnabout.  I found it easiest to ink up with my dye based markers because I wanted to use several colors at once.  I stamped it, turned it 90 degrees and then stamped again without re-inking.  I then re-inked, turned it 90 degrees, stamped, turned it 90 degrees and stamped again without re-inking.  Using the second generation stamping gave it a look of even more colors.

I’ve added some copper foil washi tape to the bottom and some Studio Katia Clear Round Drouplets.  The sentiment is heat embossed in black and it was one of several sentiments that came with the set.

These turnabout stamps are so easy to use and what a great outcome!  Don’t you love them?

I want more!  I hope they come out with more in the May release.  I’ll be anxiously awaiting!!

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy stamping!
