Happy Beautiful Birthday from Stampin’ Up!

By | 05/16/2013

Today is my husband’s birthday.  I won’t name any numbers.  Lets just say, it’s official.  I’m married to an old guy.  When AARP starts filling your mailbox with offers, it’s official.  Actually, what was worse than that…I was browsing the newspaper and saw that Foreigner (a hot band in 1980!) was giving a concert near here.  It was being officially endorsed by AARP.  I remember as a senior in high school going to the War Memorial in Rochester, NY to see Foreigner in concert with my girlfriends.   So apparently, my husband is married to an old gal.  When AARP endorses a band you saw in high school, it’s official!

Quick gift idea:

How pretty would these be wrapped in a piece of stamped tissue paper tied with ribbon.  If you include envelopes, this makes a perfect gift for a hostess, a teacher, a secretary or a friend.  You could use the Perfectly Penned stamp set or the Sassy Salutations and stamp a variety of sentiments to make each card different.  That’s a perfect gift to give someone.  We all need cards and it’s nice to have a stash on hand for just the right occasion!

The retiring stamp sets are only available for two more weeks!  Check out the list here:Retired_List_stamps_en-US

The retiring papers, ribbons, tools and accessories are available until June 3 or while supplies last.  Check out the list here: Availability_en-US
