Holiday List Keeper

3 Variations for decorating this project.

Are you making your list?  Have you checked it twice?  I have a great little project for you to keep your holiday to-do list and your holiday to-buy list all in one handy place!  Here is a quick project that requires your Simply Scored Tool and some creativity!

This inside: Holds a pen, a pad and has a pocket!

This project is essentially made from one piece of cardstock scored at 4-1/8″, 4-1/2″, 4-7/8″.  You turn the paper sideways and score it at 9 inches.  I’ve made a quick video tutorial for you to see how I put it all together.  It is quick, easy and handy to have in your purse or on your desk!  I’ve created 4 designs to share with you, but really you should let your creativity take over!  Use those stamp sets, framelits and embossing folders that you bought and enjoy making something useful for yourself.

You will need this on Black Friday if you are brave enough to venture forth!

Sample 1: Uses Snow Much Fun stamped in Basic Grey ink and colored in using Stampin’ Write markers.  I stamped the snowman and then cut it out with the Labels Collection Framelits on Very Vanilla card stock.  The mat is Garden Green card stock embossed with Petals-a-plenty embossing folder and cut out with one size larger Labels Collection Framelits.  This is all mounted on Riding Hood Red card stock stamped with the flourish from Everything Eleanor stamp set in Riding Hood Red for that tone on tone look.  I love the whimsy of the Snow Much Fun set.

Sample 2:  The second sample is very simple and uses the Carry On hostess set stamped on Very Vanilla in Riding Hood Red and Garden Green.  I used the Stampin’ Pierce Mat and tool, along with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack to embellish and add some dimension to the framelit.  It is framed with a scrap piece of Designer Series Paper cut with the Apothecary Accents as well.

Sample 3:  The last sample is made with the flourish from Everything Eleanor again in Riding Hood Red ink and paper.  I used the Ornament Keepsakes heat embossed in silver.  I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on a piece of In Color Designer Series Paper (not my favorite color choice for this project).  That is backed with a piece of Very Vanilla and topped off with some ribbon from my stash.

Sample 4: (Below) Is made with Cajon Craze, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip card stock.  It is topped off with some ribbon, a button and Spellbinder framelit cut out.  Super simple!

Another clean and simple sample.

Here is the video tutorial so you can see how I put it together.  Enjoy making these.  I would love to see a picture of your finished project.  Please email it to me and I will post it on my blog!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Kim
