We all have those stamp sets that go on our must have wish list as soon as we see them. This Hummingbird Digital Stamp Set from Kinda Cute by Patricia was one of those sets for me!
I actually have a running wish list of the cute digital stamps I want from Kinda Cute by Patricia!! I just love the touch of whimsy she has in each of her designs. I also love that I can relate to so many of them. It’s like she picks an ordinary moment in time, like a tired mom holding her baby, and somehow makes it just so real.
The hummingbirds are just whimsical and fun! I actually have a second card in the works using just one of these images. I hope to share that later today.
I had a busy week with a week long visit from my daughter and her beau. It was so delightful to see them and just have them around with their new puppy, Percy. Alas, they left this morning so I’m cleaning and doing laundry…you know the drill!
Anyway…my hummingbird card uses all 3 of the images in this set.
I love the sets that Patricia designs. The sets of 3 are always perfect for slimline cards and little scenes. I actually created a tree for the background and then decided to use this slimline frame with 3 openings, which cut off most of the tree!
Alas, you get a hint of tree and I think that is enough for you to get the scene I was trying to create.
I used the Happy Summer sentiment from my cup of extra sentiments. I don’t know what it is like in your corner of the world, but it is COLD and rainy here on the coast in NY. We actually have our heat on! No weeding and planting in the garden for me this weekend!
The hummingbirds and sunshine will be here soon, but it definitely doesn’t feel like summer is just around the corner yet.
