Interactive Shaker Cards With Lift Action

Have you started making interactive cards yet?

I’m definitely hopping on board the interactive cards train!  I’ve got a card that has a lifting shaker element to share with you today using products from the TLC Designs Shop.

How pretty are the colors in this card?  I have this pretty Sunny Studio 6 x 6″ Gingham Pastel paper in my stash that perfectly matched Catherine Pooler’s Aquatini ink and her Manhattan Sequins mix.  I couldn’t resist combining them to  make a shaker card with a little extra interactive action!

The shaker element lifts!  I love it!  I was able to add the “lift” stamp with a 3/4″ circle punch so the recipient will know to lift the circle up and see the message inside.

My card base also opens as usual so I can tuck a gift card or lottery ticket inside.

The fabulous circles were created with the TLC Designs Aztec Sunshine Circle Die set and all the elements that I decorated the card with like the sun, clouds, and birds are from that die set as well.

The lift stamp is from the TLC Designs Action Stamps set and had lots of other instruction stamps for interactive cards.

The celebrate sentiment is from the TLC Designs Celebrate Stamp set.  It’s a perfect sentiment for an action card!

I added some nice gold glitter paper behind the patterned paper for a little extra sparkle.  I also added some marker details to the die cut pieces decorating the card to add my own special touch to the card.
