Featured Retiring Product Series: Itty Bitty Bits, Soda Pop Tops, Designer Series Paper Stacks, and Striped Organdy Ribbon
Little bitty stamps can allow you to add great little background images or an accent to another image on a card. I decided to create a couple of cards where the itty bitty bits were the focal elements of the cards. Of course I love these little stamps because there is a coordinating punch set!
This is a fun card because it also uses a gradient technique for stamping the sentiment. The sentiment gets stamped 4 times, 3 times in a lighter color (Crisp Cantaloupe! One of the new colors!) and once in Tangerine Tango. I’ve used the Brights Designer Paper stack in two places. I punched a circle with the 1/2″ circle punch to line the inside of the soda pop top and then punched a 1-1/4″ scallop circle and used the lighter back side of the designer paper for that. A 1″ circle of tangerine tango is layered on top. The soda pop top has the 1/2″ circle of designer paper and the itty bitty bits stamps in tangerine tango on whisper white and punched with the itty bitty shapes punches. The sentiment is from sassy salutations!
The only addition to this card is the striped organdy ribbon, the fabulous melon mambo color scheme, and the use of the decorative label punch around the sentiment. Between the two cards, I have essentially used all of the images in the itty bitty bits stamp set and the itty bitty shapes punch set so that you could get a good look at all of the images!!!
