It’s time for another Kendra’s Card Challenge!
You can go to Kendra’s blog and download the cutting diagrams and layout sketches to create 15 cards from 6 pieces of patterned paper. The cutting templates and the card layout sketches are FREE!! That’s 15 sketches of card inspiration friends and a great way to use up that patterned paper stash on your shelf!
Kendra has so many amazing companies supplying gift cards and products that she uses for prizes throughout the quarter. Each challenge lasts for 3 months, so you have time to make all the cards, take photos and post them in the folders on her Facebook Group.
You can win some great prizes!!
I am participating in the YouTube hop to launch this quarter’s challenge. I focused on sketch 11. Each designer focused on a different sketch.
This is the card I made with the sketch. I like the card, but I felt like I wanted to tweak the sketch just a bit. I ended up creating two more cards.
My cards are made using the MFT Stamps Winged Wonder stamp set. I just loved the set and enjoyed coloring the images. I also used the Time to Celebrate paper pad from MFT Stamps for that first card. My other cards used a random scrap of patterned paper I had in my stash.
You can see that I pulled the patterned paper strips closer together in my modified cards. I also added additional colored cardstock. I really liked the sketch when I just made a couple of small adjustments.
You can download these sketches and then use them as inspiration without making the entire 15 card set. Some days you just need a little inspiration to get started and these sketches are perfect.
Here is a video I made to share my process:
