I’m on the Maker Forte blog today to share a colorful sympathy card set using the Floating Gingkos stamp set.
I have a stack of precut colorful card front panels that I have been collecting in my stash. Well…2022 is the year to use my stash!
I selected 6 panels and heat embossed one of the gingkos images along the side of all 6 panels.
Then I added a white mat behind the colored panel. I started using black card bases and wasn’t quite sure I like the look of that.
Looking at them a day later, I realize that I do like the black around the edge on these. Sometimes a good night of sleep gives you fresh eyes in the morning to better judge your creations.
I used white card bases on some of them as well. I love the white embossing on all of the cards. It is such a clean and simple card with a touch of elegance.
