I was excited to receive a handmade card yesterday from my Aunt Terry! I love handmade gifts and cards and I have always encouraged my kids to give us handmade gifts whenever they can. We’ve also started giving each other “experiences” which involve a family activity or special event.

I love this. The background looks like Victorian wall paper and the detail in the stamp behind the window is fabulous.
I actually peeked behind the window. This is black heat embossed on yellow card stock. This must be a solid stamp with the moon and stars cut out of it, so when you stamp you stamp the black background leaving the moon and stars the color of the background paper.
It’s so pretty heat embossed! The sentiment is embossed also and this is one technique that really makes your images pop. It’s always a WOW technique.

I bet she has a great holiday with all of her grandkids! Somehow kids always bring out the magic of the season.
