I absolutely loved making this project!!!
I created a mini album and all the pages have interactive elements.
I made the album out of the new Sunny Springs Card set and the Calming Creek Card set from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.
I love how this turned out! I used pieces from all three of the ephemera sets that I currently have, including the Fully Flowering, Something for Everyone, and the Labels and Layers.
I also purchased the Dandy Designs DSP from the Clearance Rack. This paper pack has 48 sheets of 12 x 12″ double sided patterned papers. There are 12 different sheets in all, and you get 4 of each sheet! It’s bright and colorful paper with easy-to-use patterns. I thought it would be perfect for summer scrapbook layouts.
I was so right!!
This album was totally inspired by Vicki Boutin and all the album classes I’ve taken with her over the last 4 years, along with her Friday Night Live crafting sessions that included book making and mini album making.
All of the pages include a different kind of interactive element.
Here are some examples:
This is a simple side pocket with some 3 x 4″ cards tucked in for journaling and extra photos. You can see the cute bird and book stack I made from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set that I am so loving. What is not to love about whimsical birds that so clearly love to hang out in a tree and read?
Here is another page with a flip flap element. You can see more of the Bird’s Eye View elements that I made along with some Something for Everything ephemera bits.
This page has ephemera from the Something for Everything and the Labels and Layers set. I also created a tag with one of my old punches, my Pebbled Path Stampin’ Write marker, and the Love this Moment stamp set.
These small flip flaps use Something for Everything ephemera and tabs I made from the Keeping Tabs stamp and die set. I LOVE that set. So perfect for memory keeping of all kinds!
