It is the season that brings out the stressed in people. Especially kids!
My kids are all grown and in their 20’s living on their own now. This will be our second Christmas without the kids at home with us. I ordered their gifts online and had them shipped directly to them.
Both kids have already opened the boxes to see what they scored for the holiday! Some things never change!
I do have to confess that I find the holiday season to be much more relaxing now that the kids are older. There is no pressure to buy the perfect gift or have a perfect Christmas.
There are also no more scenes like this! This is the Elf Fight digital stamp from Kinda Cute by Patricia. The set also comes with a Santa digi that you can also use in the scene.
This brought back memories of meltdowns from tired kids and parents.
I left my elves a little large when I printed them out. Larger images are easier to color and I find that I can create a simpler scene around them.
I colored the elves with my Copic markers and then cut them out with my Brother Scan and Cut. I added foam to the back and popped them into my scene.
My scene was created with some patterned paper with a subtle snowflake design. I actually thought it was blue until I got the entire card together and realized it is gray!
I fussy cut some snow drifts out of a different patterned paper and added some Copic shading to it. I finished it off with a nice Christmas sequin mix for a little sparkle and fun!
