I love a good sketch!  This week’s sketch at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is a good one!

I love when a sketch includes a basic shape behind a focal image.  It always provides a nice anchor for my decorative stamped and die bits.  It also provides an opportunity to use some go to dies.

In my case, I finally had an excuse to use the Back To Nature dies from Stampin’ Up!

I used some pretty patterned paper from the To The Market Designer Series Paper pack.  The B sides of the papers are really nice easy patterns to use in my scrapbooking and cardmaking projects.

Can you see the design around the edges of that circle?  I love that little detail.  There are three sets of 4 dies in each of the 3 different cutting patterns in the Spotlight on Nature die set.  Imagine the pretty frames you can make with this die set!

I also used my latest go to floral stamp set called Irresistible Blooms to create my flowers in Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight.  The sentiment is stamped in Copper Clay.

I have also added an embossing folder background detail in hexagons that feels like a hive.  This is an old embossing folder that has been in my stash for literally YEARS!  It was fun to pull it out again.

I am finally able to use my embossing folders.  I got a new Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss machine.  They are on sale this month for 10% off!!! Until the end of June 2024, you can get either the large or the mini Cut and Emboss machine ON SALE!!
