Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge

By | 01/16/2019

This week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge is a color challenge.

I think that color challenges are my least favorite.  The choices always tend to be colors I wouldn’t put together on an ordinary basis.

Here is my card:

Here is the color challenge from the Paper Craft Crew:Stamping Imperfection red and pink color challenge

For some reason, this color combo reminds me of a blouse that I have with loose floral images like the ones I used on the card from Catherine Pooler’s Beautiful You stamp set.

I used my Altenew watercolor pan set to do a quick watercolor wash for the background piece and to add a quick color to the florals.  I die cut them with the coordinating die set.

The Happy Birthday comes from Altenew’s Mega Greetings 3 set and it is embossed in white on black card stock.

The card layout is inspired by a card challenge that I am doing over at The Stamp Nation.  It’s Birthday Bash month and we are working on birthday cards for the year and this is the layout for the challenge.

Quick card!

I hope you stop by tomorrow.  I will have a special technique with a video to share with you!

Happy crafting!
