I wanted to create a quick and easy card that hints at spring.
I can’t wait to see green on the trees again!
This was so simple! I used some scraps from my stash and a stamp set that I had not used yet.
This is Altenew’s Blooming Branches. I used their Milk Chocolate and Mountain Pine ink pads…my two favorite Altenew colors!
The sentiments came from the same set. The hugs is embossed in copper embossing powder and the sending is in white embossing powder on a scrap of dark brown card stock.
I added some Stone Blue Catherine Pooler ink around the outside in a simple watercolor wash and added some black splatter. I put a dot of white gel pen on each green “bud” and added some fun sequins in bright colors.
Quick and easy!
I actually think that this would make a perfect sympathy card. I always feel like I need way too many of those and I love the sentiment on this one.
