Starry Circles Die For A Quick Card

By | 02/15/2019

My Favorite Things Stamps has some really fantastic dies.  I have so many sets that I just go to all the time.  Their Stax dies and the Die-namics are just wonderful to have in your stash.  I love the shape dies that give you every size possible.  You just use those over and over and you really get your monies worth.

I used the Starry Circle die to create a fun quick card with lots of sparkle:

Starry circle quick and easy sparkle card

I love this part of the card.  The rest is just plain white.  Which is okay, but I was trying to make this work for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch and it just never worked.

The only reason that I added the watercolor wash along the sides was to make the card work with the sketch.

I don’t love the card.  I do love this pretty Starry Circle die from MFT stamps.  This glitter paper is from them also.  The stars are from Altenew’s Halftone Stars set and that is some specialty scrap paper that I had in my stash.

I love this die.  It made the stitched outline on the card front and then I die cut the sparkle paper to get the stars.  I love this.  I added the yellow behind it to look like starlight.  I got that idea from a card my Aunt Terry made and sent to me a couple of years ago.  I was very excited to find this at MFT!  The sentiment is from the Altenew Halftone Stars stamp set.

Just a quick share today.  I hope all is well with you my friend!
