It’s the start of a new Saturday Challenge over on the Three Room Studio blog! This week’s theme is WATER!

I used the It’s a Ponderful Life stamp set along with the Believe in Fairies stamp set from Three Room Studio.
I heat embossed my images so that I could add some distress oxides to my background. I created water, sand, and sky with my distress oxides. The little star stamps are heat embossed in white while the critters are heat embossed in black.
To add extra sparkle, I added glimmer pen to the water and dragon flies. I also added lots of white gel pen dots and stars to make it appear even more sparkly.
I used some glitter paper and a stitched scallop frame die from my stash. The final sparkly touch was the sequins I used to create the shaker element on my card. I selected as many iridescent ones that I could find!
You can actually see the sparkle on the water from the glimmer pen! I love it!
I used a combination of Tumbled Glass and Milled Lavendar for the water. As I was blending the color on, I was trying to leave some of the background white showing through. I did the same thing on the sky with Milled Lavendar and Spun Sugar. The sand is created with Antique Linen and some stippling from Copic markers.
