I’ve been creating sketches and making card recipe cards for card layouts. I have the digital version to share with my January customers!
I wanted to create some cards that would use the new Toadstool Gardens DSP from Stampin’ Up! as my focal point. This is one of the Sale-A-Bration freebies that you can get with a qualifying purchase. How fabulous is this color palette? I love it!
I added a little Melon Mambo panel cut at 2-5/8″ square behind the toadstool paper which I cut at 2-1/2″ square. I added some of the icons from the With You in Mind stamp set. The coordinating card has a sentiment heat embossed in silver sentiment from that same stamp set on another pattern in that paper pack. I used a 3-1/2″ square of that backed by a 3-5/8″ square of Melon Mambo. The small happy birthday sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set.
I also added a few of the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins that are another freebie you can select from the SAB catalog with a qualifying purchase.
I also wanted to make some very clean and simple versions of this card layout. The card on the left uses the new Elements of Text stamp set to create a background in Gray Granite. I used the reversible Natural Botanicals stamp set to create the outlined images in black and then I flipped the stamps on my blocks and inked up the back to add a pop of color. I used Granny Apple Green and Fresh Freeshia. The sentiment is from Simply Said.
The card on the right uses the Toadstool Gardens DSP with the Simply Said sentiment. I love both of these cards!!
This is another version of the single layer card using tone-on-tone colors instead of the black outlines. The sentiment is from the Linked together stamp set. I love a good sentiment builder stamp set!

I used several of the new Ephemera Mix and Match elements to create these two tags. You can see all the details in my video below!
I’m loving all the new stuff I got from the new release so far. It’s just so relaxing to play in my craft room.
