This month’s Challenge YOUrself scrapbooking challenge is to create a page that is all about YOU!
I decided to focus on something new about me for this layout. Of course, the newest thing about me is that I now have a granddaughter!!! So my layout focused on that!
I fell in love with this new Mixed Media Florals Online Exclusive suite of products from Stampin’ Up!
This paper made me so happy. I just had to nestle a photo of me with my sweet little granddaughter in the middle of this page.
I used some coordinating Memories and More cards to anchor the photo. These are 4 x 6″ cards, and I used the black and white cards because there was already so much color on the page. The Memories and More cards come with 4 x6″ cards, 3 x4″ cards, and 4 cards of stickers. You can see some of the stickers that I used. I pulled some florals that I loved and some of the black and white circles. I also created my own black and white circle by using one of my circle punches on a 3 x 4″ card. There were also a bunch of cute little ladybug stickers. I used those to embellish the background of my layout.
My title is actually from one of the Sale-A-Bration freebies that I selected. This is a stamp set that is called Documenting the Day. It’s a perfect stamp set for creating mix and match scrapbook layout titles! Thank you to Stampin’ Up! for remembering the scrapbookers with the SAB goodies!!
I also made a coordinating page with a photo of my daughter and her daughter. I have a video to show you how easy this page was to create! (Video coming this weekend!!)
