Sneak Peek: A New Hostess Set Coming in June!

By | 05/17/2017

I just couldn’t resist using a new stamp set and a new color when I was stamping today!

I finally unpacked enough of my craft room that it is functional to sit and stamp.  It feels good to have the table set up along with my Big Shot station.

I also found my tripod so I’m hoping to get to make a video this weekend!  So looking forward to getting back into my videos.

This week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge was more challenging than I expected!  Check out my card:

Stamping Imperfection

I love this stamp set.  This is called Background Bits and it is a Host set from the new catalog that starts in June.  I love the background bits stamp sets.  You get a variety of little stamps that you can use to create backgrounds or little splashes of color or pattern on a card.  I find them very useful and versatile to have on hand.

Plus…isn’t that script sentiment fabulous?!

Here is the sketch that I started with.  Since I made my floral element larger than the one in the picture, I found those 3 rectangular boxes to be a challenge!  I had planned to use the Layered Alphabet set, but it just wasn’t working for me tonight.  I kept it simple and I kind of like the effect of stamping the sentiment on the boxes.  It almost makes it appear to move as you move the card.

Remember that the retiring products are only available until the end of this month!  Check out the clearance rack and the retiring products at mystampingstore.com!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Your card caught my eye in the design team inspiration at PCC. I love those little background bits and the navy flowers on the white circle, and the script cut into thirds like that is very creative and works great. Very pretty! TFS.
