This month’s Star Stampz challenge is all about animals!
I selected this adorable dragon from the Dragon and Knight digital stamp that I have in my stash. I created a card for my son last year with this digi and decided to use it again. This time, I modified the digi by eliminating the knight and just using the dragon to make a tag or bookmark.
I colored him in with my Copics in yellow and yellow-greens. I did a little ink blending with the Gathered Twigs distress oxide ink. The sentiment is from an old Visible Image stamp that I have had in my stash for years.
I will send this to my son because no matter how old he gets, he still loves dragon. I will laminate this first so that it can be used as a nice sturdy bookmark.
No matter how old we are, we can still use fun bookmarks!
This is the original project that I made with this digi. I love that you can use a digi and change the size or flip the image and modify it in some way to work for the project you want to make. This is a fun and whimsical digi and one of my favorites!
