Summer Scene Slimline Peek-A-Boo Die Cut Card With Maker Forte Goodies!

By | 06/26/2021

I’m on the Maker Forte blog today sharing a fun summer card and video that is so simple to create thanks to a great stamp set!

Summer Vibe Slimline Peek-a-Boo Card

This card uses the Summer Vibe stamp set from Maker Forte.  I’m in love with this set!

I used the round background stamp and added a yellow and an orange ink to the stamp and then used a foam blender to dab between them to blend the line of ink where they met on the stamp.

I die cut two circles that were slightly larger than the stamp from a piece of white cardstock cut at 3-1/2 x 8″.  I placed a second piece of the same size cardstock below and stamped in the cut out circle space on the second piece of white cardstock.

I used my Maker Forte Color Hive Eclipse Black ink to stamp the sentiment on the die cut panel between the circles.  I used the same black ink to stamp the silhouette summer images.  The palm trees are stamped so they hang off the card.  I used two of the smaller images for the top circle.

I really feel the summer vibes with this card!

I added a piece of Yellowstone cardstock cut at 3-3/4 x8-1/4″ behind the stamped panel.  I popped the die cut panel with the sentiment up on foam and added it to the top of the card.  The card base is cute a 8 x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4″.

A few Bittersweet Crown Jewel Gems finish off the card.
