This week’s Make The Cards Challenge is a technique challenge and it’s all about background stamps.
I used the fabulous Wild Thing background stamp from Catherine Pooler. I heat embossed it in gold and ink blended on some Spiced Marmalade distress oxide. I love the way this card turned out!
I also created a gold frame embossed die with some new MFT Stamps die sets. I LOVE their STAX dies and I treated myself to several new sets about a month ago. They make me so happy!
I used to the of the double stitched circle frames and die cut them out together to create the frame. Then I inked it with Versa Mark and heat embossed in gold.
The Giraffe is from the On Safari bundle from Catherine Pooler stamps.
The giraffe is stamped in Icing on the Cake ink from Catherine Pooler and finished off in Copics: YR 27, 24, 23, 21.
