Today we have a new Saturday Challenge at Three Room Studio. You will find that Sandy has been creating a new flower digi each Friday for the last three weeks. She released a pansy digi yesterday. I’m using the digi from a couple of weeks ago, which is an orchid.
This week’s challenge involves a mood board for inspiration!
I kept my card fairly clean and simple this week.
I printed the digital stamp on to white cardstock with my ink jet printer and gave the ink a few minutes to dry.
I colored in my image with the colors listed below and added some black and white splatter. I also added a gold heat embossed edge around the panel that I colored. This was adhered to my card base with foam tape.
I added a sentiment from the Three Room Studio Simple Sentiments clear stamp set. This is done in gold heat embossing on black cardstock. Sequins are used as my final touch here to coordinate with the colors from the mood board.
Copic Colors:
Flower: V 28, 25, 20, Y 17, W3
Leaves and Stem: YG 45, 41
Pink ground: R 85, 81, W3
Drop Shadow: W3
