The theme for this week’s Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge is Thank You!
I created 3 cards for this challenge. I wanted to use a stencil and the Aww, Thanks stamp and die set, but I couldn’t pick just one stencil!
I did some ink blending with the Rounded Checkerboard stencil to create my card front. I created an Ombre effect using Welsh Dragon and Tartan Teal Maker Forte inks.
I actually stamped the sentiment and die cut 4 pieces to layer together. Then I added some clear embossing to create the look and feel of an enamel work die!
For the second card, I created and Ombre effect with the same two inks and then used the Full Ray Star stencil, using only half of it. I added some glitz glitter gel with the stencil to create a subtle pattern.
I also added a nicely embossed die cut to this one.
For my final card, I used the new Bubblegum ink from Maker Forte. I used the reinker to color some of the glitz glitter gel and stenciled it on with the Full Ray Hearts stencil. I then created an Ombre effect with the bubblegum ink.
All of the cards were finished off with some Crown Jewel Gems.
