Time To Make The Christmas Cards With Digital Images

By | 11/22/2020

Have you made your Christmas cards for the season yet?  I have not yet had the time to actually do that task!  Maybe this week!

I made a fun Christmas card today!  I used the Christmas Fairy from Kinda Cute by Patricia and a Christmas Frames die from Simon Says Stamps to create a quick and easy card that I really like!

This is another one of Patricia Alvarez’s Christmas digital images that I’ve had on my wish list for a while.  I just love this sweet little fairy with the Christmas star.

I also paired it with an embossing folder that came with my Gemini Junior and some fabulous patterned paper from Echo Park’s Winter Magic collection that I just love.  It makes the perfect night sky background for this fairy!

I used less light on this photo so you can actually see the embossing folder here.  I love how deep the embossing is here!

Isn’t that little Polaroid style frame just delightful?  I’ve had that for a couple of years and you only get to use them a couple of times a season it seems before it’s time to start making Valentine’s Day cards!

I love dark colors when I’m doing my Copic coloring.  I think that I will start working on making lighter images.  I have a design team friend that always does light pastel clothes on her images and I must practice that skill next!

I had so many ideas of how I might use this little fairy on a card, but I settled on the easiest one and used the gorgeous Christmas Magic patterned paper for a backdrop for this little flying fairy!

I feel like it seems like she’s going to place the Christmas Star in the sky!

I hope this blog post finds you doing well my friend!  I know that with the holidays fast approaching and with the travel and family gathering restrictions, many of us are struggling with not seeing family and friends.  This will be our first Christmas without our kids coming home and it’s going to be a big change for us!  I plan to keep busy crafting and creating!  This will also be our first Christmas in Florida, so that will be different too!

Be safe and be well!  I’m delighted that you stopped by and that I could share a fun project with you today!  Thank you for stopping by!
