Using Up Your Paper Scraps With A Cherry On Top!

By | 02/28/2021

I have been looking for ways to use up my patterned paper scraps and some of the 6 x 6″ paper pads that I haven’t used in ages.  Seriously!  The new spring paper pads are coming out and I can’t justify buying any more pretty papers if I still have some left on my shelf!

Today I created a really fun little basket of flowers using the Cherry On Top die set from TLC Designs.  I love the TLC Designs dies because they are packed full of extra dies that give you so many ways to use the die sets.  I feel like the die prices are some of the best prices out there and Tammy always designs them with so many little extras that you really get a lot of bang for your buck!

Using your patterned papers

Once I got the die cutting done, this was so quick to put together.  This actually creates the cutest little cupcake or a sweet basket full of flowers.

I created the little basket pattern simply by drawing diagonal lines in both directions with a Copic marker.  The sentiment is heat embossed in black and it is from the Celebrate sentiment set from TLC Designs.

So simple!  Plus, I used up 3 pieces of patterned paper scraps and I have enough to make a second card!
