10 Days of Thanksgiving Projects Framed Fall Decor

10 Days of Thanksgiving Projects Framed Fall Decor!  Have you tried framing some of your creations?  Somehow by framing your work, it feels more like art or home decor!  We often frame things other people make for us, why not things we make ourselves?

The beauty of a paper project is that it is quick and easy to create, it doesn’t cost a lot and it’s easy to change out when you get tired of it.  It allows you to change things for the seasons or the celebrations you have!

You can see that I’ve used my favorite fall stamp set:  For All Things.  The colors are simple…my fall color palette of cajun craze, mossy meadow, crushed curry, blackberry bliss, soft suede,  and crumb cake.  This is one piece of whisper white paper cut at 4 x 6″ to fit the frame.  This could not be simpler!

The one touch that I’ve added was to dry emboss this after doing my stamping with the Wood Grain Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.  It just needed something and I think that finished it off beautifully.

To step this framed fall decor up, I might sponge a little crumb cake on the embossed wood grain to make it pop and to give this a more aged look.

Sequence might be another touch that would not add too much height and still fit in the frame I picked and give me a little extra bling.

Here is my video tutorial for this project:
