My Digital Studio Scrapbook Layout

We spent our weekend visiting our daughter who is doing a research fellowship in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I like to create my scrapbooks as soon as I can after a family vacation, or what usually is just a long weekend some place within driving distance. It was a quick two days and we crammed a lot in!

I love to make scrapbooks. I have shelves full of them holding our family memories. Yet, I still have a ton of photos that need to be organized and preserved in albums.I am definitely a paper and ink gal. I like creating a scrapbook page with my crafting supplies. I’ve made a few albums using digital software and photo printing services, but it isn’t my go to method. I decided to create at least one page using My Digital Studio just to play and learn more. You can see that I added some crochet trim, soft suede taffeta ribbon, a doily and an antique brad. It’s pretty similar to a layout I might actually create with the real supplies! (Although, I’d probably make the actual page much faster than the digital one!)

I’m finding the MDS program to be fairly easy to learn and pretty intuitive if you’ve used any kind of image processing programs. I love being able to purchase an embellishment set like the crochet trim. I’ll be able to use that over and over as I design scrapbook pages and card layouts.
