This week’s Make The Cards Challenge is a 3-2-1 Challenge. These are always my favorite!
I pulled stuff from several companies out of my stash to create this card today!
I used 3 colors of cardstock here…white, light pink, and a bright blue. You can barely see the light pink. I had a darker one in my hand and now I’m wishing I had used that instead of the light one. Although, in person the light pink looks quite pretty.
The two critters came from the Colorado Craft Comapny’s Anita Jeram Wishing You Happiness stamp set. I love the sweet critters and sentiments in this set. These two critters form a sweet and simple scene.
For my background, I used the Heart Ray Quarter stencil from Three Room Studio stamps. I LOVE this stencil! I didn’t have anything like it in my stash and I just love the background I was able to create using my Maker Forte Acid Wash and Rah Rah Skirt inks.
I kept the coloring simple and I love this technique for coloring critters that I learned by taking a class with Daniel West. He has a relaxed easy style of teaching and I always learn something new when I take one of his classes.
