By the end of this post, you will realize why you need the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom Punch! I spent about an hour yesterday playing with just a few techniques for using the Blossom Punch in different ways. I feel like I’m just showing you the tip of the iceberg here. I haven’t played with pearls, glitter, embossing powder, paper piercing, scoring, background stamps…the list goes on! I wanted to share a few fun ways you can get even more out of your punches!!! You know that I love when my punches can work even harder for me!
I created the same basic card each time. I used Coastal Cabana ink and card stock (cut at 4-1/4 x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″), along with Whisper White (cut at 4 x 5-1/4″). I stamped an image from the Mixed Blossom stamp set 4 times on each piece of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the Happy Day sentiment from the Happy Day stamp set in Early Espresso on each one as well. My final touch was to add a piece of the Whisper White Organza Ribbon to the bottom of each.
Here is the basic card:
Blossom Technique 1: For this card, I stamped the tulip image from the Bright Blossom set in Bermuda Bay on each petal of the blossom and added a Vintage Designer Button to the center.
Blossom Technique 2: I did use just the blossom punch with a stamped center cut with the 1″ circle punch. I curled the petals up slightly as well.
Blossom Technique 3: After punching the blossom, I ran it through my perfect polka dots embossing folder. (This is my favorite technique!)
Blossom Technique 4: For this card, I punched the ends of each petal with my Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. I also added the Vintage Designer Button to the center.
Blossom Technique 5: For my final technique, I stamped and punched a blossom from the Flower Shop set using the Pansy Punch. I layered them with a Stampin’ Dimensional and added a Neutral Glimmer Brad to the center.
My favorite is the embossed blossom. I think the En Francais background stamp would look amazing too!!! I keep thinking of more things I’d like to try!

Those are some cute ideas. I like the last one, with the flower on top of the Blossom Punch.
