I’m not allowed to decorate the house for Christmas until my kids get home from college next week! I usually decorate right at the beginning of December, but they want to be here to put the tree up and partake in the holiday tradition of decorating the house. That means I have plenty of time for making cards!
I know that the one thing I’ll be putting on my Christmas list is a light set for photographing my cards and projects! I had a really hard time getting a good picture of this card.
I’ve been trying several different layouts with the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder (#127820) and the Ornament Punch (#119847). I love this embossing folder, but have yet to make a card that I absolutely love with it. I think it’s beautiful and it really doesn’t need a lot of embellishment. I was sorry that I did not buy the stamp set that was featured with it (Joyous Celebrations #128069.). I think I would have used the embossing folder more if I had purchased the matching stamp set instead of trying to work with what I had. I found it difficult to find something to fit in a vertical oval! I’ll keep trying because I really love this embossing folder!
