I found a new design challenge to participate in called Stampin’ Celebration! They gave three photos to use as our design inspiration and the photos inspired a very purple party! My two favorite colors are purple and green, plus my son’s birthday is Sunday. His favorite colors are also purple and green. Of course, I had to participate in this challenge!
I tried to give the card as much of a masculine feel as possible. I also made a huge effort to leave some open space. That’s the biggest challenge for me. I have been trying to define my card making style lately, and I’m not sure what I’d call it. It’s certainly not vintage and absolutely no way is it clean and simple! I definitely like cards that are quick and easy. I don’t like fussy details or fussy cutting. I do like layers and embellishments!
