Stampin’ Up! has this Chalk Talk Bundle that makes creating birthday cards and tags very quick and easy. I created a bag tag, a gift tag and a birthday card in less than 15 minutes with the Chalk Talk Stamp Set and the Chalk Talk Framelits for the Big Shot!
I decided that I wanted a card and tag set that could work as a masculine set if I needed it to. I also chose to heat emboss my card and tag sentiments with white embossing powder on basic black card stock.
The card I created uses some of Stampin’ Up!s Washi Tape. I’ve used a roll from each of their collections! I wanted neutral colors and each set of Washi Tape has at least one neutral tape selection. For this card, I’ve basically created what might have been a gift or bag tag and attached it to a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ card front. Here, I’ve used basic grey card stock. basic black taffeta ribbon, linen thread and some neutrals designer buttons. Once I attached the tag to the front of the card, I added some neutrals candy dots to the bottom right corner of the card front.
One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! is the coordinating products. I love that I can buy an entire set of stamps that allows me to create coordinating gift and bag tags as well.
I made a small 3 x 3 gift tag with two of the images in the Chalk Talk Gift set. They were so easy to cut out usi! ng my big shot and the Chalk Talk Framelits and my extra large oval punch. Again, the images are created with white embossing powder on black card stock. I added one small piece of black taffeta ribbon and my small gift tag was complete! Isn’t this sentiment fabulous? Who wouldn’t want to receive a card or gift tag that let’s them know how much their presence means to you?

Same story: White embossing on black card stock. The bag is from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog. I know that I will be using these for gift giving during the upcoming holiday seasons! I added a piece of the black chevron ribbon and a clothespin decorated with Washi Tape. Super simple, but it all coordinates and there is no fussy cutting!
