Just a quick post to share my card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.
I used the Pretty Pines thinlets dies to create the pine bough and pine cone. I added a piece of the adhesive sheet to my cardstock before cutting the pieces out with my big shot. This made the die cuts with adhesive backs so that I didn’t have to mess with the glue on those tiny parts! I love those adhesive sheets for the intricate die cuts.

I love this updated twist on one of my old favorite standby card layouts. The addition of the element behind the circles gives it a fun twist that lets you add anything from ribbon, paper pennants to die cuts like I have done.
I love the music designer paper for this time of year. It just adds a special touch to a card. It also looks great with any red color that you add. I’ve used Cherry Cobbler here along with Emerald Envy and soft suede.
It was actually a pretty quick card to make. Those thinlets make quick work of added intricate details and special touches to a card that make it appear to be quite a bit more work than it really is to make the card!
