A Card That Is Too Fun Not To CASE!

By | 06/16/2014

I found a card that was just too fun not to CASE (copy and share everything!).  Check out page 55 of Stampin’ Up!’s catalog and you will find a stamp set called So Very Happy.  That page also has a fabulous card idea on it.

I’ve created my own version of the card!  Yep.  I CASEd it!

It’s hard to say what made me want to CASE this card.  It may have been the imperfect little polka dots or the thrown together look.

It could also have been the fact that I would be using my favorite Blossom Punch on this fun flower.  But then I do love that linen thread all looped in a sloppy fashion under the flower.

So many fun details to leave this card idea unmade in a catalog!!!

I did change the colors a bit.  I’ve used Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss card stock along with Night of Navy ink for the sentiment.  I also changed the size of the card to 4-1/4 x 11″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″.  I’m pretty sure the card is a smaller size in the catalog.

I also wasn’t sure what was going on in the center of the flower in the catalog, so I created my own center element.
