This month’s Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge is all about using Washi tape on your layout.
As I was creating my layout for this month, I realized that I used the same paper from Carta Bella that I used last month! I really do love this paper and I ended up with 2 sets of the paper and sticker collection.
I love the look of this Summertime collection. This came in this month’s Echo Park scrapbook kit. I love this collection. I had received the collection from the Crop & Create April 2021 event that I did a few weeks ago and I created a similar layout last month using the remnants of that kit.
I LOVE this flower cart!
I used the Washi tape in the kit for borders and anchors for some of the elements on my layout. I added some thin gold Washi to add a metallic element to my layout too.
This photo is from the day my husband and I got our 2nd Covid Vaccine. You can see the happiness and relief on our faces. We had to drive 2 hours to get to a CVS that had available appointments and then 2 hours to get back home. It was so worth the 4 hours of driving to feel like we might have some protection now.
I still haven’t gone out anywhere other than doctor’s appointments and I went to the grocery store once. I still feel reluctant to be surrounded by a whole bunch of people. I’m rather enjoying the homebody life and all the great virtual events that I now have time to participate in!
Be assured you won’t see this paper again next month! This is my last piece. Isn’t the watercolor effect just gorgeous? I really love this collection.
You can see that I included a bike, some yellow, and green detail in all 3 of my ephemera clusters.
We would love to have you join us for the challenge this month. I have no doubt you have a nice stash of scrapbook supplies with plenty of Washi tape that you could create an entire layout with! I have that too.
