Clean And Simple Card Challenge

By | 02/11/2019

I’m combining this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge with the Double Trouble Challenge.  The card is a clean and simple card with lots of color and lots of white space.

It also has a lot of dimension thanks to foam tape and foam dots!

Stamping Imperfection Clean and Simple Floral Card

This is an older Catherine Pooler Designs Stamp of Approval stamp and die set called the Enchanted Garden set.  I stamped these in Altenew Permanent black ink and colored them in with my Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers.  I die cut them out and popped them onto foam tape.  I did a quick watercolor wash with Catherine Pooler’s Stone Blue ink and added the die cuts to the card.  I stamped the sentiment in permanent black ink and added some iridescent bubbles.  The card front is mounted on Parchment card stock from Altenew.

Quick and easy!

Great dimension on your floral wreath…beautifully laid out. I too love using the foam tapes and dots, they really add that extra dimension to a project. Thanks again for sharing your DT artwork from AHSC with us at Double Trouble and hope you come back again next week to see what Thing 1,2 and 3 are up to and our partner.

Oh, Kim – I LOVE this! Every little detail is so carefully thought out from the wash on the background to the careful colouring of each image. Popping them up makes all the difference and they are laid out in such a perfect way – not exactly circular, but just RIGHT. This card is simply AWESOME! I am so excited to work with you on the Atlantic Hearts Design Team – and thanks so much for sharing with the Double Trouble challenge this week as well 🙂
