Create 3 Monsters And Have A Happy Halloween

By | 10/30/2018

I love monster stamp sets.  I had a great set when I first joined Stampin’ Up! and I made a ton of projects with it including kids games.  It broke my heart when they retired it and I couldn’t keep using it.

I’m so happy that I found an even cuter replacement stamp set with a coordinating die set from Studio Katia called Monster Bash.

Copic coloring skills aside, these are super cute little monsters.  There are 5 other monsters I did not use on the card along with several sentiments.  Some of the sentiments will work for the entire year.

I created these little darlings for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge.  This week it is a sketch challenge.Stamping Imperfection Monster Bash

It’s a great card sketch for a nice clean and simple card.  I’m sorry that I really couldn’t leave that much white space today!  I had monsters running around!

I’m going to submit this card in the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge this week because it is Trick or Treat!  How perfect!

I used the Limeade Watercolor Brush Marker from Altenew to create the background for my monsters.  I also added some Altenew Jet Black ink spray by shaking the ink wand over the card.  There are also some fabulous Pretty Pink Posh sequins in their Trick or Treat Mix.  Aren’t they fun?

I used a few Copic Markers to color these in, cut them out on my Altenew Mini Blossom Die cut machine with the Studio Katia die set that coordinated with the stamp set.  There is a touch of pumpkin sparkle washi tape at the top with a staple for fun.  I used a white gel pen to add some fun dots and added the card topper to a black card base. I used foam tape to pop up the monsters.  I love the dimension they have.

Tell me that grumpy little monster with the Viking had is not the most adorable stamp you’ve seen!  He makes me smile.
