December Daily Days 6-10: Free Printable Traveler’s Notebook Layout Sketches

By | 12/14/2024

I have more December Daily layouts to share with you today.  You will also find the free printable layout sketches with each layout that I am sharing today.

I’ve used the Reindeer Fun and the Reindeer Memories Scrapbook Layout kit with the coordinating stamp sets to complete all the layouts.   I saved these collections just for this project!

Day 6:

Stamping Imperfection December Daily day 6

I decided to create a pocket with one of the Reindeer Fun Memories and More cards.  I added adhesive to the two sides and the bottom of the card, leaving the top  with no adhesive.  It makes a perfect pocket to hold one of the journaling cards in this set.

I also used one of the tags and some of the embellishments in the holiday ephemera sets that are in the fall and holiday mini catalog.  I just love these ephemera sets!!  They have so many uses.

The ephemera on this page include more of the holiday collection.  The title is from the Reindeer Memories coordinating stamp set that was released with the scrapbook layout kits.  I’m loving these stamp sets that they have been releasing with the scrapbook workshop kits.  They are excellent titles and they can be used for lots of projects beyond scrapbook layouts.  I will be using these again next holiday season.

Day 8:

On this layout, I used an old alphabet set to create the title along the right side of the layout.  I also fussy cut one of the 3×4″ Memories and More cards to create a secondary title above the reindeer.  Once again, I added some of the ephemera bits.  I also stamped one of the trees from the Reindeer Fun stamp set and die cut it out.  I made a bunch of them a few days ago and I’ve added them to a few pages along the way.  I LOVE having the coordinating stamps and dies to create some of my own ephemera to decorate the pages.

My journaling is being done on 1/4″ white card stock strips that I’m cutting down with my trimmer.  It’s a simple way to add journaling strips and you can cut them down to any lengths you want.  I think it looks a little neater than just writing it on the page.

Day 9:

I couldn’t resist using this fabulous DSP to decorate the left page.  I didn’t want to cover it up with anything else.  This paper really evokes memories from childhood Christmases for me!

Another stamp that I’ve been enjoying adding to my pages is the snowfall stamp from the Reindeer Fun stamp set.  I stamped it multiple times in Pool Party in the middle of the right page.  These little filler stamps that Stampin’ Up! includes in a lot of their sets are just golden nuggets.  They make great background fillers like I’ve done here.  If you go back to yesterday’s post and look at pages 2-5, you will see that I’ve added a lot of the snowfall detail on my layouts in a variety of colors.  I love filler stamps!

I know I say this a lot, but I love these little traveler’s notebook projects.  I can use all of my craft products on these pages.  I’ve used Memories and More cards, stamps, inks, dies, DSP, ephemera, Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write markers…the list goes on!  I love it.  I’m preserving memories in a relaxed easy way and using all the stuff I purchased while doing something I love.  You can’t beat that!
