Digital Stamps: Butterfly and Flower Card and Bookmarks!

I have a couple of projects to share with you using my Butterfly and Flower Digital Stamp from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.

Digital Stamp Butterfly and Flower Card and Bookmarks

I’ve used two digital stamps here.  The butterfly and flower is one stamp and the polka dot digital paper is the second.  I got several projects out of these two stamps today and I had a lot of fun experimenting with color combinations.

I used two stencils from MFT Stamps to create the background with Distress Oxide inks.  I used the cloud stencil and the grass stencil.  This was a quick way to create a background after coloring several images.  I’m not a speedy colorist yet, but I enjoy every moment that I am working on a project.  I just get so absorbed in the task that I forget about everything else!  It’s a good thing my kids are grown and on their own and my husband is busy fishing.

Color Combinations:

Flower: RV17, RV14, RV11, RV00, Stem G29, Flower Center: Yo8, Y38, YR04, YR09

Butterfly wings: BG 49, 15, 13, 11  White Gel Pen and B24, RV17 used for dots, RV10, RV00, RV0000 used for wing center

Butterfly Body:. N4,2,1,0

Distress Oxide Inks: Grass:  Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint  Sky: Tumbled Glass

Other products used: MFT Stamps Cloud and Grass Stencils, Altenew Washi Tapes, Altenew Peony Spray stamp set for the sentiments, Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes, Wink of Stella Sparkle Pen, White Gel Pen, Copic Sketch Markers, Catherine Pooler Oval Die Set, craft foam, Studio Katia Clear Drops Mix.

Here are a couple of other projects I made using resized images and the leftover digital background paper and a Bookmark Die Set from Avery Elle that I just couldn’t wait to use!

I love to read and we have the cutest bookstore in our town.  I can’t wait until I can go in there again!  Luckily I have a small stack of books I bought last summer an never had time to read.

I had created 3 of the butterfly images in various sizes with a plan to make a slimline card.  I changed my mind and just created the card above with a larger image.  I was much happier with that, but I was not wasting the other images or the rest of that paper.  I love polka dots and stripes!

You can see that the die had a regular sized bookmark and then 3 shapes of the little page clip bookmarks.  I added the smallest image to one of those.  I plan to laminate my regular bookmark and add some pretty ribbon.

I had one image left, so I created a little inspirational tag for my big clip to sit on my desk.  I used another sentiment from that Altenew set.

I experimented with different color combinations.  This one is orange!!

I will be making more of these bookmarks to tuck into cards to sent to friends and family.  My card stack is getting big so it is time to start sending them!
