Just When You Think You’re Done Unpacking…

By | 12/13/2017

Just when I was done unpacking, I realized that I can’t find any of my foil card stock!  I also have to admit to myself that I have at least two more good weekends of unpacking ahead of me to finish the last corner of boxes.

All the aggravation of selling, buying, packing, fixing up and unpacking has been so worth it.  I just love our little fixer upper in our little harbor town.  We walked into town over the weekend to see the Christmas lights.  They had a holiday parade and tree lighting.

We walked the boardwalk along the bay and then walked down the pier.  It’s like living in a combination of Mayberry and a Hallmark town.

Today when I was trying to decide what stamp set I wanted to play with, I wandered over to What Will You Stamp’s challenge blog to see what they are playing with this week.  It turns out to be Christmas Quilt.  This has a coordinating die set, ribbons, papers, embellishments…you name it!

Who can resist!

I had also peeked in on SUO Challenges and Fab Friday and found that they are both doing Christmas challenges so that sealed the deal!Stamping Imperfection Christmas Quilt

The SUO Challenge #189 is Favorite Holiday Colors.  I am a traditionalist with red and green.  Through is some glitter and shine and I’m hooked!

The Fab Friday 127 challenge is a Christmas Free For All.  Again, irresistible this time of year.  FF127_1

Finally, I chose to also participate in the What Will You Stamp challenge using the Christmas Quilt stamp set.  I love seeing the variety of cards created all with the same stamp set.  It’s a testament to the creativity of paper crafters!wwys_christmas quilt

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Happy holidays!

Update: This card was selected as a Top 3 Challenge Winner on SUO Challenges! A big thank you to the design team!

GORGEOUS! I love how you did the ribbon and then layered the fa la la over your focal point. How fun it is to live so close to town that you can walk to everything. Congrats on your new house. Thanks so much for playing along on the SUO Challenge.
