Layering A Giant Bloom

By | 10/03/2018

One of my favorite techniques with a giant bloom image is to stamp it several times and cut out different parts of it and layer them together with foam tape to add dimension to the bloom.

My second ever card class taught me this technique and we used Outline Stamps with fabulous results.

I used the same technique that I used in my video yesterday with a drop in watercolor wet-on-wet technique.  Quick and easy.  I cut apart one flower to create a center and popped it onto foam tape to create that top layer.

The bloom now has a lot of dimension that allowed me to layer the two sentiments below that top layer.

I used this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge for the layout to my card.  I edited the sketch and left out several details to keep my card clean and simple.

I want that bloom and the sentiments to be the focal point of this card!Stamping IMperfection Beautiful Blooms MFT

The stamp set that I used was once again the Beautiful Blooms Card Kit from MFT Stamps.  This kit is now back in stock!!  I have linked this below for you.
