Let The Sentiment Do The Talking

Let the sentiment do the talking, that’s what I say.  The sentiment and a quick technique are the focal points of this card today.

I know!  That’s a lot of purple, right?!  It’s one of my favorite colors, so I’m not sure you can have too much purple.  I did give it a nice pop of contrasting color with the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper punched with the angled tag topper punch.

I think the simplicity of this card makes it a perfect layout for a masculine card.  The layout came from this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge!

The technique I used for my background just involves placing two strips of lighter card stock on top of the darker and embossing all of it at once.  The embossing process actually adheres them together.
